Current Public-Health Related Activities

Kate Wallis is a board-certified developmental-behavioral pediatrician at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, a clinical instructor of pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine, and an instructor in CHOP's Policy Lab. Her research is focused on disparities in the identification of low-income and minority children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental and behavioral conditions, and in screening for these conditions as a form of secondary prevention to promote equity of diagnosis and care. She has also participated in global health work, including conducting a needs assessment of early child development in a rural community in the Dominican Republic.
