Current Public-Health Related Activities:
Ms. Germack is a postdoctoral fellow examining patient outcomes related to nursing resources. Clinical Lead of startup, re:Mind, a text message based appointment reminder service for patients recently discharged from inpatient psychiatric care to facilitate attendance at their first outpatient appointment. As Clinical Lead, Ms. Germack facilitates communication about implementation and results with our community partner, Community Behavioral Health (CBH) and the 13 Philadelphia Acute Inpatient Providers the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research is connected with. She is passionate about facilitating and improving continuity of care post discharge and thinks discharge from mental health inpatient care is one of the best places to start.
